Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American journalist on the radio who was formerly an official of the government. She served as Spokesperson for United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow in the Hudson Institute, which is a think tank for conservatives.
Before her post at the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March to October 2018, Nauert served as Acting Under Secretary for State for Public Diplomacy, Public Affairs and Diplomacy within the Trump administration. In 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the White House Commission on White House Fellowships.
